Creekside Clubs final night this year will be on

There will be a Pinewood Derby for the Stockade and Tree
Climbers and their families on May 1st at 6:00 PM!
Volunteers are still needed for decorating and for the potluck supper.
The Cross-Generational orchestra, including adults and students
in Grades 6 and above, will rehearse May 3rd 12:30-1:30 PM (Lunch
follows) and May 9th from 9:30-11:30 AM.
Women's Guild will meet May 5th at 1:00 PM. Diane
Grosz's granddaughter, Alysha Grosz (11), will perform a
15-minute piano concert. We also will be learning the history
of some hymns and singing them. Come join us!

for a Money Map Workshop on Thursdays May 7th &

Volunteers: Come help set up and serve at the receptions
following the Children's Musical on May 15th and
16th. We will need 4-6 helpers for each time. If you can
help either day, please contact Lori Graham at (612) 722-9904 (h) or
(612) 708-2907 (cell). We also need LOTS of cookies or bars! If you
are willing to bake treats for the receptions, please call Lori also.
A garage sale of unused / abandoned church
property on May 29, 30 will be held to clear out cluttered
storage closets, hallways, and the attic. The collection of this
"stuff" will be on May 2nd &
3rd. If you have concerns about certain items and wish
that they be exempt from being placed in the sale (i.e. something
donated), please contact the church office. This sale is strictly
limited to church property - do not ask to donate any personal
household items to it.
Graduates! High School, Associates, Bachelors, and

"WALK FOR LIFE" - New Life Family Services
Annual fundraising event on May 16th at 9:00 AM at Como Lake, St.
Paul. A two-mile stroll in support of New Life and the
pregnancy-related services they provide. Let's have a group from First
Free do this walk together!

Congratulations to Heather and Andrew Aunan upon the
arrival of their baby girl! Ashley Joy was born on April
15th Both Heather and Ashley are doing well!

Doble will be providing free blood pressure checks for any who
are interested. They will be located in the downstairs hallway (near
Rooms 105/106).

One of the Sunday Night Small Groups is conducting a garage
sale of unused / abandoned church property on May 29, 30.
Our intent is to clear out cluttered storage closets, hallways, and
the attic, so that the spaces can be used more productively. This
collection of "stuff" will be done on May 2nd and
3rd. If you have concerns about certain items and wish
that they be exempt from being placed in the sale (i.e. something

Community Emergency Services
Volunteers are needed on a weekly or monthly basis for interviewing
clients, delivering meals, preparing bulk mailings, praying, sorting
groceries, and many other areas. If you are interested in

Open Arms of Minnesota, Minneapolis
Volunteer! Open Arms prepares and delivers free meals specifically
tailored to meet the nutrition needs of individuals living with
serious and life-threatening diseases. Help is needed in the kitchen,
office, and meal delivery areas. If you'd like to give of your time,
call 612-872-1152.

Men's Night Out: Really big screen. Lots of food. Prizes
Galore! Men & Youth come and watch the NCAA Basketball

sportswriter, will be speaking on "Hero Worship of Sports
