Lake Baptisms & Church Picnic
Today, August 10

• Following Today's worship service, everyone is welcome to the baptisms at the west beach of Lake Nokomis and the church picnic following.
• Families with last names beginning with A-P, bring a salad to share in a small cooler. Families with names R-Z, bring a dessert to share. Meat, beverage, and eating utensils are provided.
• Everyone bring blankets or lawn chairs.

The August Quarterly Business Meeting is scheduled for Monday, August 11, at 7:00 pm.

Dental Mission Trip to Peru: Our church team is making final preparations to leave on August 14 for the dental mission trip to Peru. Please pray for this outreach. You can also support the trip by donating adult and child toothbrushes to be handed out at their clinics. There will be a collection box in the church foyer for this purpose. Muchas Gracias!

First Free Blood Drive: Please save the date of Wednesday, August 13, from 3:30-6:30 pm and plan to participate. Anyone 16 years old to over 100 is welcome to donate blood. Sign up by calling Christy Fleming at (651) 332-7167 or at the Welcome Desk on Sunday mornings.

Child Dedication: We will be having a Service of Child Dedication on Sunday, August 17, at 9:30 am. If you are interested in dedicating your child, Please call the church office.

Welcome to the MN Teen Challenge Choir! They will be presenting their ministry to us this morning. MN Teen Challenge is one of the largest faith-based residential drug and alcohol programs in the state. We will be collecting a special offering for their ministry during the service. Please make your checks out directly to MN Teen Challenge.

Church Carpet Installation: Volunteers are needed after the 9:30 am service to move furniture from all the lower level rooms on the south part of the building into Room 103. The carpeting is being replaced the next two weekends (August 8 & 9 and 15 & 16). Please meet in Room 104 after the service.

F & P Board and Commissions will meet tonight at 5:30 pm. The Council will meet at 7:30 pm.
