A Big Thank You to each of you who contributed to the appeal for baby supplies for City Life Center. It was a great encouragement to those who distribute these supplies to the mothers who come for help. God bless you!

A Church Bridal Shower is planned for Janielle Bachelder, the fiancée of Ben Nordell, on Tuesday, July 1, 7:00 pm at church. They are registered at Target and Bed, Bath & Beyond.

The Crown Financial Small Group is a 10 week in-depth experience of what Scripture teaches about money and possessions. If you are interested in learning more, come to an informational meeting at church on Wednesday, July 9, at 7:00 pm in Room #103. Call Tim Audette with questions.

Life ABF is hosting a family service project on Saturday, July 12, at 10:00 am in the First Free gym. We will be making sandwiches for a homeless shelter, encouragement cards for children who are terminally ill, and blankets for children in crisis. Cost to participate is $35. If you are interested in participating or donating, call Vanessa Beckett.

Host a New Arrival from China: New students from China are arriving in late July - August to study at the U of MN. They need a place to stay for several days while they find regular housing. If you are interested, contact Bob & Joanne Kraftson with China Outreach at (651) 437-6806 or 303-7683.

Lake Baptisms & Church Picnic: Join us at Lake Nokomis on Sunday, August 10, after the service, for baptisms and a picnic. If you are interested in being baptized, please call the church office at (612) 827-4705 or mark your Welcome Card.

Have you registered your kids for Power Lab VBC yet? Please do it today! Getting kids registered early helps us assign them to their lab crews. Sign up at Creekside Canteen.

WHAT: A potluck-style meal in a church family member's home.

WHY:   To get to know people you may not know very well and to    deepen the friendships you may have had for years.

WHO:   All adults in the church!

WHEN: Saturdays, July 19/26 or Fridays, July 18/25

HOW:   Fill out the bottom portion of this sheet and place it in the offering plate, drop it off at the Welcome Center following the service, or    leave it in the church office. Please respond by Sunday, July 6.

WHAT'S NEXT: The host of your Fellowship Meal will contact you and let you know what time the meal will be, what food item you can bring, and what the host address is.

Summer Schedule Changes

(June 15-July 27)

  • Life ABF meets at 9:30 am in Room 103 and Sojourners meet in Room 105.
  • Seniors ABF meet at 11 am in Room 105 and Agape meets in Room 103.
  • Creekside Church for kids K-6 is at 9:30 am. No Creekside Kids Bible Time at 11 am. Kids will sit with their parents during the Service.

City Life Center is a ministry which supports women who are in crisis pregnancies. There will be a basket in the foyer through June 8 for collecting baby supplies for this ministry. Please pick up a list of suggested items at Welcome Center.

Junior Church Hike

Saturday, June 7, 9:00 am

  • 4-6 grade students meet at church parking lot.
  • We will return ALL the children to their HOMES at the end of the day, usually between 5:00-6:30 pm.
  • Food and drinks will be supplied and pictures taken. A donation of $10 is appreciated.
  • Long pants and tennis shoes are recommended.
  • Contact Ross Olson if you have questions.
