New Opportunities for Serving

The Hospitality Center for Chinese is excited to welcome new Chinese University students and families to the Twin Cities this summer. You can help by A) donating used furniture for incoming students (beds, dressers, chairs, tables, bikes etc needed) or B) hosting a Chinese student for a week or two. Please contact Amy Lindquist for more information at amy {at} chinesehc.org or 651.659.9740.  Volunteer teachers for HCC's fall classes are also needed.  Our mission is "To share Christ's love with Chinese students, scholars and their families through hospitality"- join us!

Reach the world from your home. Students from Universities in China will be attending a semester-long program at the University of Minnesota called Education for a Global Citizen. Warm, loving host families are needed to house students starting August 26. They will live with you and share family meals and activities until December 31. Stipend provided. For information call Adri at 952-927-7221 or globalciv {at} gmail.com.

If you are interested in either of these programs, you can also call Audrey Sollie 651-686-6508 asollie {at} usfamily.net for further information. The Seekers Multi-cultural Class leaders are willing to assist you or answer your questions. We encourage you to involve the students with the Seekers Class, as it gives them encouragement spiritually and emotionally while they are so far away from home.
