All are invited to a graduation open house for Chelsie Larson on Sunday, June 3rd, from 1:00-4:00 PM at her home.

A baby shower for Katie Goodman will be held at church on Sunday, June 3, at 2:00 PM. All First Free ladies are invited. Katie is registered at Target and Babies 'R Us. Contact Heather Aunan at (952) 261-8966 with any questions.

Women's Guild Picnic is planned for 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, June 5, at Verna Beckman's Party Room (9401 Lyndale Avenue). Bring a salad to share. Jul Stone, missionary in Indonesia, will be our guest speaker.

Calling all cowboy stuff for VBC Avalanche Ranch: We are looking for donations (or to borrow) western wear for props and costumes. Desired items include: cowboy boots/hats, ropes, saddle, wagon wheel, checkered tablecloths, burlap sacks, bandanas, and farm tools. The drop off box is located outside Beth's office. We also desire prayer partners to support each area. Contact Beth Brown to donate/volunteer.

Avalanche Ranch Painting Day: On June 2nd volunteers are needed for prop painting. No experience needed. Wear old clothes and meet in the gym from 8:00-11:00 AM. Breakfast provided. Contact Colleen Guzman at (612) 825-3515.

Calling all Sojourners! Our next all family social is scheduled for Saturday, July 14th. It is somehow going to involve a lake! We'll keep you posted.

Road Closing: Diamond Lake Road is tentatively scheduled to be closed beginning on May 29 between Stevens and Second Avenues in Minneapolis to prepare for the demolition of the bridge over I-35W. The bridge demolition is scheduled to begin on Friday, June 1, at 10:00 PM to Monday, June 4, until 5:00 AM. Both directions of I-35W will be closed. Please consider taking another route during the construction.

Senior Singles' Lunch: There will be no senior singles lunch today. The Senior Singles' group will break for the summer and resume in September.

The Annual Meeting is set for Monday, May 14, at 7:00 PM. These positions will be voted on at the Annual Meeting and are for a two-year term: Brenda Audette, Nurture Vice-Chair, Grace Vandervort, Outreach Vice-Chair, Karen Beckett, Worship Chair, Mark Poston, Caring Chair, and F & P Board, Robert Goodman, David Kriesel-Koll, and Phyllis Nordin.
