Graduation Open House: You are cordially invited to a graduation open house for Cicy Song this afternoon from 2:00-5:00 pm at First Free.

Blood Pressure Checks will be available on Sunday, July 2nd, during the Fellowship Time. A nurse will be located downstairs in the hallway outside of the gym.

Picnic in the Park: Mark your calendars for this big backyard get-together, Thursday, July 27, at Pearl Park, 414 E Diamond Lake Rd, from 5:30-8:30 pm. First Free will have a booth there again this year. Pray that we will make some good connections with people in the neighborhood.

MOPS Play Group will be meeting on the first and third Fridays of July and August at Hiawatha Park from 9:30 - 11:30 am. All moms and children are welcome.

Mission 180 Commissioning: This morning we will be praying for our youth and leaders who will be participating in the Mission 180 Conference. They are as follows:

We warmly welcome Rick & Becky Mackey who are visiting with us this morning. Rick & Becky are now missionaries working in the Dominican Republic. They will be sharing in the combined Chaim & Agape ABF Classes in the Chaim Room #1. Rick was a former youth pastor at First Free.

Elaine Brower Gravender would like to thank the people at First Free for the love and kindness shown to her and her family through cards and prayers following the death of her son, Michael Brower. It was very comforting.

Congratulations to Scott & Vanessa Beckett, the proud parents of Ava Giordana. She was born on June 3 and weighed in at 6 pounds 6 ounces.

Our condolences and prayers go out to Elaine Brower Gravender. Her son, Michael Brower, died unexpectedly this past week. His memorial service was held on June 10.

  • Students will learn how to share their faith more effectively and gain confidence in their abilities.
  • Any student from grades 8 to 12 is welcome to come.
  • Mission 180 will cost $300. All money is due today.

Honoring Russ Anteronen: We want to thank Russ for his ministry behind the scenes as our "Liaison to the Community." He has left his position on staff as of June 1, but he will continue to serve here at First Free. Pick up the June/July issue of "First Word" to read more about Russ' ministry over the years.

Back to One Service: Our double service schedule will continue through June 11th. Beginning Sunday, June 18, we will be going back to the following schedule:
         9:30 am    Worship Service
         10:30 am    Fellowship Time
         11:00 am    ABF's, Youth & Children's Classes

A Women's Guild Picnic is set for Tuesday, June 6, at 12:00 Noon in Verna Beckman's Party Room, 9401 Lyndale Ave S. Bring a salad to share. We will have a sing-a-long program.

The students of First Free are preparing for service this summer. You can be involved in one or two ways.

  1. Prayer support! Please, pray for our students and staff going out to serve.
  2. Financial support! We are seeking to raise $900.00 for our summer ministry trips.
