First Free Camp Scholarships are being offered to our elementary through high school age groups. If your child regularly attends First Free, the church will pay half of the base cost of attending one of these camps: Shamineau, Rock Ridge, Nathanael, or Cherith. Warren Ahlgren will be playing the accordion during worship today. He is a recent member of First Free and shares this testimony:
"Even though I first asked the Lord to come into my life when I was 25, I somehow began "wandering in the wilderness" - again. Just over a year ago, after a couple of nights of serious soul searching, I found myself literally crying out to God for help. I confessed that my "very professional drinking" had become totally unmanageable. I am so grateful to God for reaching down to me and welcoming me back. I continually ask Him to never let me forget what He rescued me from. Somehow, "grateful" seems to be such an inadequate word. Pray for Stanley Johnson and family. His wife, Ruth, went to be with the Lord on February 10. Her memorial service will be held at First Free on Tuesday, February 22, at 11:00 AM. Our prayers also go out to Edythe Falck and family. Her husband, Lloyd, went home to the Lord on February 12. His funeral was held at First Free on February 16.
