September 26, 2004

Sheryll Erickson will be speaking this morning at 11:00 AM to the combined ABF Classes of Sojourners, Agape, and Seniors. Meet upstairs in the sanctuary following our fellowship time, and hear about her work in England.

Guitars for India: Does anyone have a useable acoustic guitar that they would like to donate for Pastor Eric's trip to India? If you can help, please contact Pastor Eric ASAP.

A baby shower for Jessica McWilliams will be held on Thursday, October 7, 7:00 PM, at church. Jessica is registered at Babies 'R Us and Baby Depot (Burlington Coat Factory). Contact Carrie Boyum with any questions.

Mark your calendars for a Sojourner's Class Family Event at Minnetonka Orchards on Saturday, October 9. Meet at the church at 1:00 PM in the church parking lot, so we can car pool. You can also meet the group at the orchard at 1:30 PM. For more information, call Lori Peterson.

A baptism service will be held on Sunday, October 17. If you would like to be baptized or have questions, contact Pastor Joel Sutton at (612) 827-4705.

Interested in church membership? Our Membership 101 Class will be held on Sunday, October 17, from 4:00-8:00 PM. A light supper and child care will be provided.

Two mission trips: Contact John Symington about the New Orleans mission trip, November 13-21. Also, we will be taking another group to the Dominican Republic the second full week in June, 2005. Ask God if YOU should go!

MOPS Registration has closed for the fall, but if you would like to register for spring, call Sheila Decker at (612) 722-1834. Your registration includes a magazine subscription, A Veggie Tale, a mothering book, and encouraging emails.

The Twin Cities Marathon will be Sunday, October 3, starting at 8:00 AM. If you live north of Minnehaha Creek, make sure you take extra time to get to church. You can cross over the parkway on Nicollet Avenue or 35W.

Our week of prayer will culminate with a Concert of Prayer tonight at 6:00 PM. Child care will be available for nursery and preschool children.

A Re-gathering will follow the Concert of Prayer at Ross & Karin Olson's home, 5512 14th Ave. S., Minneapolis.

Our condolences and prayers go out to the Londborg Family and the Rose Family. John's Dad passed away last Sunday in Denver, and Steve's Mom passed away last week.
