Kiley Krocak from New Life Family Services is visiting with us today for Sanctity of Human Life Sunday. She will have a table in the foyer with more information regarding New Life Homes and their baby bottle fundraiser.

The Sojourners' Sledding Party is on today from 3-4:30 PM. Meet at the Minnehaha Park Coffee Shop. For more information, see Lori Peterson.

Interested in knowing more about First Free? Exploring Church Membership, 101 Class will be held tonight from 4-8 PM. Meet in the Chaim Classroom #1. If you have questions or would like to attend, please see Pastor Joel today.

Chaim Ministry Team will meet tonight at 6:00 PM in the Sojourners' Classroom (small room off the kitchen). We will be focusing on our future areas of ministry.

Join the Festive Choir - new members welcome! Rehearsals are on Tuesday evenings at 6:45 PM.

Minnesota Vespers (Hymns, Gospel Songs, Scripture, and Meditations in the Traditional Style) will be held here at First Free Church, on Sunday, February 8, at 4:30 PM.

The Quarterly Business Meeting will follow the MN Vespers Service on Sunday, February 8, at 6:00 PM. The meeting has been moved to Sunday this time because of the 10 Keys Outreach on Mondays.

A Prayer Room will be open in the Library on Monday evenings from 6:30-7:30 PM during the 10 Keys Outreach. Please stop by and support this outreach effort in prayer.

Baby Showers are coming to First Free! Mark your calendars for the following dates: Sara Gallagher Shower, 7:00 PM, Thursday, February 19; Carrie Boyum Shower, 3:00 PM, Sunday, February 29; and Vanessa Beckett Shower 3:00 PM, Sunday, March 7. They are all registered at Target.

The Camp Shamineau Annual Meeting is Sunday, February 29, 3:00 PM, at Maple Grove Evangelical Free Church. First Free needs to send 5 delegates. Contact Sherie McClun at (612) 827-1863 for delegate registration information.

You are invited to a Hymn Sing at Edgewater Baptist Church today at 4:00 PM. There will be a time of fellowship following.

Usher Training will be held tonight, from 6:00-7:30 PM. If you did not attend the previous usher training class, you are encouraged to attend.

New Life Family Services will be visiting our church on Sunday, January 25th, for Sanctity of Human Life Sunday. They will have baby bottles available for you to fill with checks, currency or coins. This will help provide free pregnancy testing, counseling, support groups and clothing.

North Central District Women's Network is planned for Saturday, January 24th from 9:00 AM - 2:30 PM, at Crosspoint Evangelical Free Church, 9801 France Ave. So. Happy 90th Birthday to Lester Westlund! The donuts during fellowship time today are in his honor. We appreciate Lester's many years of dedicated service to the Lord.

Jill Rose will be sharing her faith story this morning during worship. Jill and husband Steve have been attending First Free for about 6 years. They have two sons Charlie (7) and George (5). They are involved in the preschool ministry, and Jill serves on the Outreach Task Force for local evangelism.

Curt & Sheila Decker wish to thank the congregation for all the support they have been given over the past year. During the holidays Curt received numerous cards and care packages from people in the church - many thanks!

A Concert of Prayer is planned for tonight at 6:00 PM. Let's start out our New Year right by coming together and dedicating 2004 to the Lord.

White Cross will meet on Tuesday, January 13, at 9:00 AM. Bring your lunch and use your sewing skills for the Lord.

Junior Church (grades 4-6) is planning a hike in January! Kids meet at church on Saturday, January 17, at 9:00 AM and come explore the Science Museum. If you have additional questions, call Ross Olson or Mary Anderson.

We extend our condolences to Howard Schroeder. His son Phil recently went home to be with the Lord. A memorial service for Phil Schroeder will be held at First Free on Saturday, January 10, at 11:00 AM. A light lunch will follow the service.

Keep Bruce & Mary Damon in your prayers. Bruce's Dad went home to be with the Lord, and his funeral was held on December 29th. Bruce will be staying in the U.S. for a time to help his Mom through this.

Fellowship Potluck Suppers will be held on January 23 and 31st. This is a great opportunity to get to know others in our church by getting together for an informal meal. If you would like to be a guest or host/ess, mark Fellowship Supper (Guest or Hostess) on your Welcome Card. The committee will contact those who wish to host a supper. The host/ess will call the guest list for further details.
