Rainy Holst writes, "I want to thank you, dear members of First Free, so sincerely for the use of the church for the funeral, the luncheon, and for everything you did for all of us during George's long illness. It seemed so fitting that his farewell should be at First Free Church, which was so dear to his heart ever since he was a young lad. Your special love shown to all of us is more appreciated than I can tell you. God bless and keep you all."

John & Pam Easterwood invite you to an Open House celebrating the graduation of their daughter Sarah from Richfield High School. Come and help them celebrate on Sunday, June 8, from 2:00-5:00 PM, at their home, 7121 Morgan Ave. So., Richfield.

It's that season again - the Junior Church Hiking Season begins Saturday, June 7, from 9:00 AM to around 6:00 PM. Meet at the garage across from First Free Church. We will go by van to Crosby Lake Park. Bring clothing suitable to the weather - long pants and shoes suited for mud work best. Sunscreen and bug repellent are a good idea, too. A donation of $5 is appreciated. This will cover the cost of lunch, liquids, snacks, and pictures.

Today will be the last day of Junior Church for children in grades 3-6. They will break for the summer.

Missionary Prayer Focus

Mark & Athlee Bowman - EFCM Japan

  • Pray for victory over a problem with gossip in our church. Pray for us, that God would lead us to help those involved.
  • Praise the Lord, three young men were baptized on Easter Sunday! Two of their testimonies told of God answering the prayers of their relatives to bring them to faith.
  • Our coffee house, "Coffee & Chat" is going strong. A couple people we hadn't seen for months, but for whom we have prayed, have returned. Please pray that they will both find Jesus.

The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. ~ James 5:16b
