- Candidate Weekend -

with

Joel & Becky Sutton

Friday, February 15, 7:00 pm

The Suttons will meet with the church leadership at the Fishers' home at 3601 46th Avenue South. This will include Church Officers, Church Staff, Council, and Commission and Finance & Property Chairs.

Saturday, February 16, 2:00 pm

Maranatha, Fidelis and Agape Sunday School Classes will be planning a social afternoon that will give them an opportunity to meet the Suttons.

Sunday, February 17, 9:30 am

Joel will be preaching at the 9:30 Service. Immediately after the service we will begin Sunday School. The Suttons will visit with the combined Junior & Senior High Class for half an hour, and the last half hour he will meet the College, Sojourners, and Chaim Classes. Following the Sunday School hour, we will have an all church potluck dinner.

This schedule should give everyone an opportunity to meet with the Suttons. We will probably call a special business meeting to vote following the next Sunday morning service on February 24th.

Thank You From St. Joseph's

Your generous donation of gift bags and certificates are welcome and wonderful gifts for the children of St. Joseph's Home for Children. The personal kindness that you have extended to St. Joseph's helps to support our mission of caring for those most in need.

Our children have noticed the generosity of our friends and neighbors, and they are amazed at the warmth and love with which these gifts were given. Your donation does more than delight the child who receives it. Your gift gives our children a sense of optimism, and it makes their holiday season memorable. Your gift was truly priceless.

On behalf of all of us at St. Joseph's Home, a heartfelt thank you!

We're Moving

We have many fond memories of our fellowship with First Free for over 30 years. We want you to know that we love you, and we will remember you. Bill is retiring on March 8, 2002, after he ends his 35 years with Toro. We are being snow birds and moving to beautiful scenic California.

Dear Friends at First Free

Thank you so much for the lovely bouquet of flowers that you sent to our mother's funeral. They were beautiful!

Thanks to our church family at First Free for being there for us-you are all very special.

We praise the Lord that Mom is at peace with God now-something she has longed for since Dad passed away 8 1/2 years ago. She was ready and willing to go home.

We look forward to seeing her and Dad again in that great and glorious day.

Love in Christ,

Agnes for the Family of Effie Farrell

A Thought From God's Word:
When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. [1 Corinthians 13:11]
