Worship Ministries

Our Worship at First Evangelical Free Church seeks to EXALT God through Spirit and truth, CELEBRATE God for who He is and what He has done, and RESPOND to God through service.

Adult Choir

First Free Church Choir

First Free is committed to the role of the choir as an updated, fresh part of the church. The adult choir ministers two Sundays per month (September through May). Rehearsals are held Tuesday evenings 6:45-8PM. The Choir sings more often during both the Christmas and Easter seasons. For more information, contact Rick Olson at (612) 729-4662.

Worship Band

This team of musicians and vocalists lead worship for the Sunday morning service. The worship team is a skilled group, requiring some improvisational ability and weekly rehearsal. Vocalists serve on rotating teams. For more information or an interview/audition, please contact Eric Twietmeyer at (612) 827-4705 or Debbie Smith at (952) 221-1772.

Praise Orchestra

First Free's Orchestra consists of senior high teens through adults. We accompany worship and perform instrumental pieces throughout the year. This group helps balance and expand the diversity of music offered at First Free. Call Eric Twietmeyer at (612) 827-4705 for more information.

Tech Crew

These team members take care of behind-the-scenes necessities, setting up and tearing down equipment as well as running sound, lighting, and video systems for Sunday morning services and special events. We are consistently growing and learning in using technology for God's glory. If you are interested working with the tech team, call Matt Beckett at (612) 801-7530.
